petite vs. tall?
Am about halfway through "bee in fields," and I'm coming up to the part where I have to decide...tall or petite? I'm leaning towards petite, as there's pretty much no way that 5'4 could be construed as tall, but am still wondering...what size shawl is in the pattern photos? How are other people deciding this?

The shawl in the pattern photos is the tall size. I'm just 5'2" but I'm going with the tall size anyway.
I am 5'2" also and I plan on making the tall - I like having a longer shawl to wrap around me. :o)
Hmmm...I think I only bought enough yarn for the petite, not wanting to repeat last xmas's Stora Dinum shawl fiasco (gift for mom who was...um....surprised...at how large it ended up...not that it was the size of my family room rug or anything...) but now I'm worried it's going to be too small. Oh well.
If it ends up too small, you could always call it a scarf, lol :) I bet either size would be nice.
I haven't seen the pattern yet in person, my kit is in the mail and should be here this week. Yeah!!! But could someone tell us how tall the model is. I'm 5'2" also.
I sent Anne an email asking her if she can give me a rough height on that model. I'll let you know when I hear from her. :)
